If you are in aging nearby 40 then you should need to take care some extra for your skin. In routine life we need to take precautions about our hebits to stay more beautyful.
You might think that by the time you turn 40, you’re at the point where you can stop worrying about your skin care routine and just settle in to enjoy whatever time you have left before you hit menopause. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be further from the truth! By now, your skin has already gone through most of its life changes, and it’s just getting ready to enter its longest phase as far as skin care and beauty are concerned — maintaining what you have.
1) Drink 8 Glasses of Water:
Water is important to all aspects of your health, and aging skin is no exception. The anti-aging skincare routine recommends drinking at least eight glasses of water a day (about 2 liters) to keep skin looking its best. If you’re consuming enough water, your skin will have a smooth, supple appearance, as wrinkles and lines caused by dehydration are less visible. In addition to improving your complexion, proper hydration can also help ward off infection and disease—something that’s especially important after 40! Drinking at least 2 liters of water every day can add years to your life expectancy—so it’s never too early or late to start doing it.
2) Use Vitamin C Serum:
More and more anti-aging products are incorporating vitamin C in their formulas. This ingredient has antioxidant properties that help reverse signs of aging, such as fine lines and dark spots. Look for serums or moisturizers that feature vitamin C, such as vitamin C serum, which can be applied after you cleanse your skin but before any additional creams. Apply a few drops of serum on clean skin and allow it to dry before applying other products to your face.
3) Get Enough Zzz’s:
Getting a full night’s sleep is vital to restoring and rejuvenating your skin. Skimping on sleep causes your skin to produce more of an enzyme called collagenase, which causes wrinkles by breaking down healthy collagen in your skin. In addition, it can cause dark circles under your eyes—which aren’t sexy—and make you look tired. Getting enough shut-eye helps you look refreshed and energized, which is attractive in itself!
4) Get Early Sun Exposure:
Sun exposure is important for natural vitamin D production and has been shown to reduce risk of certain cancers. Of course, sun exposure must be done responsibly. To reduce your cancer risk and boost your overall health, get some early morning or late afternoon sun (before 10am or after 3pm). You’ll need 15 to 20 minutes of exposure to get your daily recommended dosage of vitamin D without putting yourself at risk for skin cancer. If you have fair skin, use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher and cover up with long sleeves, pants, a hat and sunglasses when in direct sunlight. Remember that UV rays are strongest between 10am and 4pm from April through October so plan accordingly!
5) Use Mild Cleansers:
Many women over 40 use harsh cleansers to keep their skin clean, but a simple wash with mild soap and water is all that’s needed. If you feel your skin is dry or irritated, choose a moisturizing cleanser to soothe your face.
6) Eat Organic Food:
Smoking is one of those things that we often overlook when it comes to aging. Smoking has been proven to accelerate skin’s natural aging process, and women who smoke are usually three times more likely to have wrinkles than those who don’t smoke. If you smoke or use tobacco in any way, quitting may be tough but it will help slow down and reverse some of your signs of aging. Your skin will also thank you later!
7) Say No to Smoking:
Your lungs are one of your body’s most important organs, and they work hard to filter out harmful toxins. However, smoking can have a devastating effect on lung health. Not only does it cause wrinkles but it also causes tiny cracks in your skin. If you’re looking to get more youthful skin fast, you should quit smoking as soon as possible!
