I love watching TV. I love watching Netflix, it is my show that I do every day. I can’t predict what I will be watching from one day to the next but I am always watching something. My favorite shows are Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones, House of Cards and Sherlock. I had already watched Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones, and House of Cards before Netflix. I was familiar with these shows but I watched Sherlock first. It was reintroduced to me in netflix and when I saw the description I was intrigued.
1. The Sherlock Experience:
In 2011 the BBC released three special episodes of Sherlock which were episodes 2-5 of season 3. These episodes were dedicated to the character of Sherlock. They told the story of how Sherlock met John Watson. These three mini-series were written and directed by Steven Moffat and Neil Gaiman.
These episodes told the story of Sherlock meeting John and also explored the relationship between the two of them, something that had been left untouched from the main show. The mini-series resulted in a huge buzz, with people talking about the show. People wanted to see more and netflix gave in to popular demand. They created 13 episodes of Sherlock, which were available for download immediately. Netflix released the full season of Sherlock in March 2013.
Benedict Cumberbatch plays the role of Sherlock Holmes and Martin Jude Law plays the role of Dr. John Watson. The sets are stunning and the actors are amazing. Acting, direction, cinematography, production design are all perfect. Brilliant plots, great characters, excellent writing. This thoroughly original show is entertaining to watch.
The Cast
Benedict Cumberbatch won a BAFTA for best actor for his work on Sherlock. He is amazing. He plays Sherlock well. His character is brilliant but Cumberbatch really brings him to life.
Martin Jude Law is a great actor. He plays John Watson largely with his face. His facial expressions and mannerisms are brilliant. He is brilliant in Sherlock and I would recommend seeing him in more things.
Joan Allen plays Mary Watson (Sherlock’s parents) and she is brilliant too. She played the same character in 3 of the 4 mini-series and was brilliant in all of them. She is in every other netflix show I watch and is brilliant in any show she appears in.
Andrew Scott plays Moriarty. Moriarty is brillant. Playing an evil genius is a challenge but Andrew Scott has managed it.
The sets are set in Baker Street. The stories are set on Baker Street. The locations and the stories are inseparable.
For such a brilliant show to be up against Game of Thrones and its predecessor House of Cards is a testament to the quality of Sherlock. Many shows have struggled to find an audience and Sherlock has succeeded.
The second season aired in 2015 and the 3rd season will air in 2016. A fourth season has been confirmed and is currently under construction.
I love NetFlix. I won’t lie, it is the greatest thing to happen to videos since cable. It gives me the freedom to watch what I want when I want. I go through my list of shows and decide which I want to watch next.
2. Daredevil:
I’m not going to lie, I lost count of the number of times I watched Daredevil but I would recommend it for anyone who likes action-packed shows. The Netflix Daredevil series is quite different from its predecessor because it has been 6 years since the last release (The Defenders) and it jumps directly into the action. TeamDaredevil all the way.
Daredevil is a TV show that takes place in Hell’s Kitchen in New York City. It follows the story of the character Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a child, and how he becomes a lawyer to fight crime and protect the innocent. In this new season, Matt is now a lawyer for the Defenders. This show is based on a comic book character. In the show, Daredevil is a blind man named Matt Murdock who fights criminals with his martial arts skills and with his Daredevil costume. The show is often violent, which makes it perfect for young viewers. Also, if you are looking for a good action-packed TV show, you should give it a chance.
3. Stranger Things:
I absolutely love Stranger Things. The fact that it is 80s inspired is so cool. It also brings out my inner child and fills me with excitement. Watching it was like a walk down memory lane. The graphics are on point and the soundtrack is great. A good mix of old and new.
I think that a big reason why I love Stranger Things is that it reminds me of when I was a kid and I used to watch TV shows like this. It brought back memories from my childhood. I grew up in a time when people didn’t have cable or Internet. They had to get their information by watching TV. That’s why I really like this show. It brings back those memories for me. I also think that this show has an excellent plot. I was not expecting to be as excited as I am over this show. It is fun, interesting, and it has many layers to it. I also think that it is a great show for children. If you are interested in Stranger Things, I recommend watching it. It is also worth watching because it is a really good story and you’ll learn
4. Marvel’s Jessica Jones:
If you’re not sure if you want to watch a 13 episode series you really don’t need a reason. Jessica Jones is a 13 episode series that is perfect for binge-watching. If you are a Marvel fan, then you are in for a treat. The core episodes are really good and the stand alone episodes are just as good.
Jessica Jones is a superhero TV show that comes from the same writers who brought you The Punisher. If you love superheroes, then this is the show for you. This is the story of Jessica Jones, a former superhero turned private detective, who is trying to rebuild her life. She’s not so successful at the moment, because her past is following her. A man she once knew is now the new head of the Hand, a criminal organization that is hunting her down. This means she needs to learn to live on the streets, where she is not so safe.
5. The Crown:
This series got rave reviews for being authentic, funny, and a great portrayal of the royal family. As a monarchist, I loved that the depiction of the royal family was honest and unfiltered. After being disappointed by The Crown, The Tudors, and Versailles, I was blown away by this series.
The Crown is the best royal drama series I have ever seen. I really admire that this series wasn’t trying to be a documentary. It didn’t have the same feel as The Tudors or Versailles. All the characters in this series were developed well and there weren’t any unrealistic depictions of the royal family. This series had the feel of an authentic portrayal of the royal family. It didn’t feel like a show about the royal family.
6. Luke Cage:
Luke Cage, along with Iron Fist, is my favourite Netflix hero. Luke Cage is based on the comics and the show is an adaptation of it. It is really good and can’t wait for the second series. If you like Marvel but are tired of all the superheroes, this is a great show to introduce you to Marvel.
Luke Cage has many different abilities. He has super strength and speed, the ability to fly, super durability, super stamina, superhuman reflexes, superhuman endurance, the power to control fire, the ability to teleport, and the ability to absorb energy from others. This character is a very powerful man who has great physical powers, but he uses them for good.
7. Brooklyn Nine Nine:
If you like detective shows then Brooklyn Nine Nine is a gem. It is the funniest show I have ever watched and the perfect show to start and end a busy day.
It’s great to watch Brooklyn Nine Nine when you are on the bus or subway. It’s a show that you won’t forget. This comedy series is about the life of an NYPD detective. The characters are well developed and they are funny. You’ll definitely like them. This series features many funny moments, but the best part of it is the relationship between the main character and the squad. They are always working together and helping each other out. There are also some special moments in the series, such as the wedding of the main characters.
8. Brockmire:
Brockmire is a comedy which revolves around a 60’s era radio announcer. It is really funny and fans of Pete Holmes, Jim Gaffigan or Judah Friedlander will really enjoy the show.
The funny and lighthearted show revolves around the character of Brockmire. Brockmire is a local news talk show host who lives in a small town called Brockmire. The show is very similar to The Pete Holmes Show in the sense that they both focus on news and pop culture. However, Brockmire is more of a comedy show than Pete Holmes because it has a lot more jokes. You will laugh throughout the show, especially when you see the characters. You will also see many classic comedy films. This will really make you laugh. Brockmire is definitely one of the funniest shows. If you haven’t watched it yet, you should check it out. You will love it.
9. The Office (UK):
If you are anything like me, then The Office will always be your favourite show. If you don’t know why, then I would recommend you watch the first 5 seasons on Netflix. The Office International is a spin-off series. Although it was different from the American series, it was still pretty good.
The Office has been running for a few years now. It’s a comedy that follows the life of a group of employees working at a paper company. The employees work in different departments such as mail room, reception and accounting. The main characters are Michael Scott (Michael Schur), Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson), Jim Halpert (John Krasinski), Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer), Ryan Howard (Rachael Harris) and Phyllis Lapin (Phyllis Smith). The Office is one of the best sitcoms that has been aired so far. The actors all play their parts really well. They are all very entertaining to watch.
10. The Good Place:
This is definitely not for everyone, but if you like philosophical shows then you will really like The Good Place. It is very different from most of the shows on Netflix and the ending might depress you.
The Good Place is about a group of people who are all trying to be good people. Everyone in this world is doing bad things, and they are punished. The punishment is eternal punishment, and it is so hard. Even though everyone is doing the worst thing, they are still trying to be good people. Michael (Ted Danson) tries to be a good person, but he finds himself in this terrible place called the Bad Place. He needs to get back to the Good Place, so he does everything he can to do that.
