1) Wheel pressure –

Engine coolant needs to be topped off about every two years. When you stop your car and turn the key, it’s possible to smell the coolant. Of course, you must also carry a spare wheel, a jack, and an iron lever, which will take you to the nearest auto supply store to buy a new one. First Aid – As a last resort, when you are in a bind, you can perform first aid on yourself. It is always best to seek professional help, but if you are in a situation where it would be beneficial, you can do what you can. First aid is usually done with a clean cloth or your own hand.
4) Change a wheel-
Everyone should know how to change a wheel, in case you need to do it in an emergency situation. Even if you have AAA or some other coverage, you should have the tools and knowledge to do so when the need arises. You can get books on the subject or take a basic vehicle maintenance class at your local community college.
Take a refresher course. Every driver needs to be aware of the basic rules of the road, such as what is allowed and not allowed on the highway. Knowing these rules will help you avoid trouble. A refresher course might be offered by your local community college or even through the AAA. Keep an eye out for bad drivers.
5) Insurance –
In most states, insurance is required by law. You should always have adequate insurance to cover your vehicle, especially against third parties, for accidents. Search until you find your best option; many companies offer discounts for women with a good driving record.
Other Vehicles – When you are starting out, it is important to have a car that will take the abuse of driving without sacrificing comfort or safety. A convertible may be your best choice for a very young driver as they are less expensive to insure, easier to drive and can take the abuse of a convertible much better than a standard model.
